Maureen’s subject matter is mainly landscape or figurative forms expressed in a semi-abstract style.

Working from sketches and photographs, or from memor y, or imagination, she uses colour to express mood. The mediums she uses include drawing, painting and collage. The latter are either from found papers or those she makes herself .
