Diana Dixon uses the pull of gravity in her clay work. If she can find a precarious but stable balance her piece is complete! She uses a variety of finishes: earthenware glazing, cement fondue, fire and smoke effects, ground natural materials and oxides.

Her sculpture includes birds, animal studies and abstract human forms exploring relationships: she feels the emotion and works the clay...
