CATHIE ASHLEY

Cathie’s paintings are largely figurative and reflect her joy in the play of colour and light in the natural world. She also has an interest in the power and impact of abstracted images.

In the current political climate of depletion, Cathie finds herself creating surrealist images that may seem light hearted but they represent confusion and disappointment.
