Barbara describes her work as more earthscape than landscape, using found items and collected rocks to make colour and texture.

Taking a broad view of our earth home, she explores its dynamic nature and our transient position within it. Also known for her drawings of animals and fantasy birds, these provide a relief from working with more serious topics.
